Desert Bliss

I'm back! Finally, it's been way too long. I've missed the photo-shoots in 90 degree weather, changing outfits in the car in deserted streets, and writing what ever I'm thinking on here in hopes that someone maybe finds it interesting. Crazy .. but yes I love it all. So the other day I went out to the desert with my roommate to shoot some outfits. It was definitely 100 degrees and looked kind of like the scene from a scary movie but we got some awesome pictures so it was all worth it, sunburn and all. And no kidnapping scares! I learned from Shaun (this awesome guy from Cincinnati) that apparently people get kidnapped from the desert all the time in LA? Glad I learned this after the fact. 

I promise I'm back for good now though so more posts will be up this week. For now, enjoy this one!

Major Flare

BAM! Decided to pull out my old super flare jeans. Seriously haven't worn these babies in years. But they're making a come back .. trust me .. just wait for it. Its been ridiculously hot here in LA though so jeans won't be happening too often from now on.

Bikes & Leather

One .. yes .. more Jet Rag .. and two .. no idea whose bike this is .. but it was raining in LA today so me and Kirstie snapped some pics in the parking garage. More exciting news .. apartment hunting is over becauseeeee WE FOUND ONE! Finally. And it is beyond amazing. Seriously our dream apartment. We move in at the end of the month , can't wait to share some pics with you guys after we decorate! Now only loads of homework and job searching until graduation.

Lazy Florals

I've been consistently busy lately & I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love being busy but it's been a little much lately between apartment hunting with my roommate Kirstie, job searching, prepping my portfolio, plus school work. GAH. I guess welcome to adult hood? Haha. But it definitely means some lazier outfits. Anyways .. back to craziness!

Seeing Stars

GAAAAAAH. Love. Jet Rag has the BEST overalls in town. Seriously. I graduate in June so saving money is a must which means no shopping buuuut I can afford the occasional Jet Rag with my roommate. And I couldn't pass up these star printed tie dye overalls. More dollar finds will be posted soon. Hope everyone's having a good week!

Lace & Overalls

Soooo once again my favorite thrift store in America makes an appearance on the blog. My roommate scored this amazing lace button up at Jet Rag's dollar deal Sunday's so I snatched it for the day. These overalls were also a score from their dollar Sunday's from a couple weeks ago. Anyways , I probably shouldn't share my secret spot but its just too good not to share with you all!

Pier Days

While my mom & cousin were in town we spent a day at one of my favorite spots in LA, the Santa Monica pier. I swear every time I'm there I just look around and think about how blessed I am to call this place my home now. Anyways, I'm more than obsessed with black and white right now so get ready to see ALOT more of it.

How amazing is this green bag right?! When Melie Bianco sent it to me I died a little because it's the perfect shape & size for all of my goodies that I stuff in there. Snow Fall

Blue Shower

Yes. I am standing in a pool shower. But hey, I thought the blue tiles were cool. Its been chilly and cloudy here in LA lately, totally not what I'm used to so layers have been a must. I'm really ready for Christmas break, this quarter has been stressful to say the least! I head home to Ohio in just 16 days and I'll be there for a month. Dreading the ice cold weather that awaits me but I am beyond excited to spend time with my family and friends. It's much needed. Hope you all are staying warm!
